And here comes the spin. LOL

No spin required. The rest of the world has no barring on the presidential election. And your conclusion in the original post is absolutly flawed.

That's hilarious, but expected. Everyone across the pond hates Republicans.

I said it earlier, only Israel and other Western-puppet regimes in the Middle East and some factory owners in China are going to back the Republicans.

edit: and Georgia.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

What would you expect? From an outsider's perspective, Mitt Romney looks like a mad religion-friendly well-trained redneck with archaic programs.

So what you are telling us is that the countries that want a strong and successful USA want a Republican at the government, and the countries that want a weak USA want a Democrat at the government. Makes sense.

I don't see why the people of western puppet regimes would want repubilicans.

That said, the one country I have seen that has the public mildly more support for Romney?

Pakistan.

Makes me wonder who the people of Yemen would prefer.  Nobody has polled them unless i missed it.

I think "Generic Democrat" vs "Generic Republican" spreads would be pretty much the same almost anywhere. Europe generally focuses on lack of US healthcare and low tax rates and see's republicans as "unlike them" ignoring areas they share with conservatives such as general economic handling policy. (While they have more government spending their reactions to recessions and such are more conservative then republicans are.)

While the middle east and asia likely see's your average republican as more likely to bomb them.

The only outlier may be Africa, where he might gain support since the president wouldn't be black. Since George W Bush actually became the biggest supporter of Africa when it comes to aid in US history. (Obama has actually gone backwards in the regard.)

I'm fairly certain you overrate people's knowledge of US politics...

The oil monarchies of the Mid-East are going to want a Democrat?

In Pakistan's case, it could be a combination of distaste for the drone strikes and the fact that a lot of Pakistanis have a lot of respect for the military regimes, and so see Obama as a backer of Zardari and his corrupt incompetence.

In Yemen's case, it might be more complex.

Their citizens?   Why wouldn't they?

Looks like about 73% of Pakistanis didn't respond at all. I'm assuming they were all killed in drone strikes.
