(While they have more government spending their reactions to recessions and such are more conservative then republicans are.)

While the middle east and asia likely see's your average republican as more likely to bomb them.

The only outlier may be Africa, where he might gain support since the president wouldn't be black. Since George W Bush actually became the biggest supporter of Africa when it comes to aid in US history. (Obama has actually gone backwards in the regard.)

I'm fairly certain you overrate people's knowledge of US politics...
