Forums - Movies & TV - What are your favourite Halloween movies?

I'm just curious what movies the vgcommunity watches come Halloween time. I don't mean which horror movies are the scariest since that's a different story, but which movies get you in the mood for Halloween. Some of my favourites include:

Hocus pocus
The Thing 1982
Halloween 1978
The Fog 1980
Casper
An American werewolf in london
Halloweentown
the ledgend of sleepy hallow
Frankenstein
young Frankenstein
the curse of frankenstein
Dracula 1979
horror of dracula
the pit and the pendulum
The house of the devil
trick r treat
Arsenic and old lace
Bell Book and Candle

And, Dead and Buried, which is also one of the most under rated horror movies of all time in my opinion.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Every October I watch:

Evil Dead 2
Army of Darkness
Hocus Pocus
Ernest Scared Stupid

I'm going to have to check out Ernest Scared Stupid this year. It's been a while since I've seen it.

Halloween (1978) since it actually takes place around Halloween. But my favorite horror film of all time is probably The Thing (1982).

It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Don't care for horror/scarey flicks and really don't care about Halloween but I love me some Charlie Brown.

Cant go wrong with Halloween 1+2 (originals)

It's quite nice to see that people here prefer the original Halloween/Elm Street/Friday the 13th as opposed to the remakes.

Also @HesAPooka, you have quite a bit of classics in the OP. I'm surprised anyone here has even heard of "Bell Book and Candle". Good stuff.

Why not thats what the majority of people think. The originals are better than the remakes in every way!
