Wii U alone will easily add 2-3 million to the 2012 totals, depending on how many consoles are available in the US from launch till the end of the year. You'd think the initial launch shipment has to be close to 1 mil or so.

Do you see any reason to bump up your estimates on either x360 or wii in light of their price cuts? Or had you anticipated them and factored them in, source?

Well Nintendo and MS have announced price cuts and there is WiiU releasing, so expect a nice boost this year.

It doesn't seem like X360 got an official price cut in the US. Gamestop is just doing deals...presumably because its competitors are selling more X360s than they are.

The Wii price cut isn't going to do much either, although with Just Dance 4 and Black Friday deals Wii should shoot up ten fold in December from whatever it does in October (60k --> 250k --> 600k ?). 

I assume we'll be seeing a lot of $99 Wii deals for Black Friday this year. Probably every major retailer will do that.
