It looks much like the one on the Wii. After playing Skyrim, similarish game visual: vistas, battling large monsters, etc, I thought it would really be a next gen leap. But to me doesn't look as good as a nice DirectX 11 game on a PC.

I thought the WiiU could and would do better.

It can. But this isn't a ground-up Wii U game, it's a HD port of a 3DS title. It's no more indicative of the system's full capabilities than Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD is of the PS3's.

More "3DS HD" games on Wii U please.

I'll take Resident Evil Revelations HD and Kid Icarus Uprising HD (with Wiimote pointer controls). I suppose they could even retain the 3D effect for 3DTVs too.

Honestly I'm done with both 3DS and Vita outside of long plane trips in the future as I mostly play them around the house. Wii U is going to replace that.

You have a touchpad. It can serve as a keyboard if they enable it.

My assumption is that you'll be using the touchpad for other stuff. Not sure, though.


I'm pretty sure that if you want to say something there will be a button that prompts up the keyboard. Its what im expecting.

Wow, looks really clean. MH3 was my first MH game I've played and I have over 1300 hours on it. I've decided not to buy a Wii U this year,but, most likely will get one next year. It's an up-ressed Wii game. The impressive stuff will come in time.

To be fair the graphics are good looking but not impressive at all.

360 and PS3 can easily pull that off.

People are impressed because expectations were so low for this game, not because its the best looking game ever. I think most people were expecting it to look like MHp3 HD version (ps3 game) which looked pretty crappy so this is a pleasant surprise not mind blowing but still nice to look at
