One has to wonder what took Sony so long to implement this (as well as many other ideas). They should have done this a long time ago.

Sony is a publisher, as is MS. So.....

Yea is a Publisher.. but PSN Store is just a platform managed by SONY... They don't publish all the content there, unless they have some unknow policy/rule of pricing for Third party games I don't think SONy set the price for those games...

And like Turkish said, Steam charge full price on new releases, Ubisoft's store too, and EA's Origin too.. go complain there too...The only thing I can complain is that digital games don't drop in price as fast on phisical... look on US PSN, by example there are still PSP games at 40$ and not new ones... old titles like Ace Combat, Soul calibur, tekken, Fifia 11, and such... but that's mostly seem on US store...

uhm.. Sony is offering Little Big Planet Karting preorders for 50€ as digital version (60€ in stores/on amazon) for example and I'm pretty sure I've seen early discounts for digital versions of their games before

edit: and they also offer Sport Champions 2 as preorder for 20€ instead of 30€

It's nice to see they're finally grouping and linking stuff together in a logical way, but going from 25 items on screen to 5 seems a step backwards. A lot more clicking and scrolling then simply checking 1 page of what's new every week.
