I hope it´s true...I mean, I´m a layman when it comes to all the tech stuff, but I´d think there´s no reason why a system that´s (according to what I´ve been reading) at least 2X as the current generation HD consoles, shouldn´t be able to easily render 1080p with 60fps in a 2D platformer game.
