The Vita looks far worse than the PS3 ever looked and I really dont believe in a resurgance, it doesnt have the games for it and with those sales it never will

PSP and DS cut its life short. It launched in 2001, DS and PSP in 2004.

It is amazing how just 3 years later we got a jump from a portable SNES like to another one PS2 like.

I was many times on the fence about buy a PSP, but I never did.

you know its actually never been a better time to pick one up still, they are absolutely amazing systems and what you can do with one with custom firmware on it has to be seen to be believed, everything from atari 2600 emulation to the SNES, GBA and arcade machines like the CPS1+2 on the psp2000 models. I often thought about how my childhood self would react to being handed my psp now given I have it modded and literally has the entire librarys from every console and handheld from about 20 years.... I then remember I'm a dickhead so I'd give it to myself but wouldn't provide a charger having the greatest 6 hours of my life then having to wait 15 years for a charger to be invented for it :D
