No i didnt say they dont sell, they do however sell poorly, if you want me to show you the charts i will, but it should be clearly clear that few 3rd partys have had even decent success.

That's not an accurate meassure of game buying habbits for a few reasons. First of all, attach rate grows during a console's life (the Wii's was 4.5 with Wii Sports just a few months ago), so the one that's been out the longest will have the highest rate. Second, developers, when making games, aren't going to look at attach rate, but rather "sales per month."

Also, if you are going to analyze attach rate, this is a much more reasonable way to do so. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?start=0&id=12332 This can also be used as a "rate of growth" chart for software sales, which show that both the Wii and PS3 are gaining on the 360 in software sales at a very rapid rate.


The attach rate going up with age also has to do with the conventional sales models where sales level off and begin falling at/after year 2/3.  Numerator increases quickly while denominator stays relatively the same and the result obviously grows.

Also siz of userbase is irrelevant, Sony screwed up, so their userbase is smaller, however third parties do sell on Wii

If you're going to make an argument in a thread you have to at least address the issues already raised.  The attach rates have been pointed out and they handily obliterate any opinion or anecdote you can provide. 

If you can't address that data then your argument is the joke here.  If you can then by all means please do.  But until you do you are in fact a troll, almost by textbook definition.

You are free to loath the Wii and hate it with a deep hatred to your hearts content  should you want to.  But if you want to make claims about what is fact without anything to back it up then yes expect people to say something.

Your logic is rediculas, it is a little true, 3rd party games are not really getting played, which makes it a little true. Everything will most likely have a little truth to it. Also this article is completely false based on your opinion, and your opinion is not fact, nor is mine, so im done argueing with you.

No size is completely relevant, even if wii is dominating sales and has a huge fanbase, this only proves it can barely outsell software on a much smaller based console.

Yes they do, but very little.

 The first part is backpeddling.

If the second part is in reference to the attach ratio figures (which it appears to be) then the statement is made in ignorance.  Attach ratios fully account for any disparity in the sizes of userbases.

Sqr it would appear you have no idea what we are talking about. My opinion is data, because it is in fact my opinion if i can like my wii or not, or prefer it to other consoles.

Attach rates do absolutley NOTHING to prove if i like the wii or not. I have no idea what so ever where your logic is because im not talking about attach rates (which could be argued since most are nintendo games) im talking about whether im a troll or not because i said i prefer another console to another.
