Not true. In Louisiana, if your parent or guardian consents to you drinking available alcohol, you are within the law to drink to your pleasure.

So I'm guessing you watched? Did you atleast cheer him on. Was this a drunk fight or a fight that has traditional value. |
yeah I watched, didn't really cheer him on but tried to give him some words of encouragement before the fight...it was more of a traditional value fight, for some reason the son always has to fight his father when he turns 18, sadly for my friend his dad was a construction worker for a majority of his life....he had hands of steel and was pretty damn strong...

Ah, I think I see the confusion. I meant purchase and public consumption are forbidden. The majority of states though have either no or partial restrictions on private consumption,

Public/Private isn't really the issue (purchase is definitely banned). If you go into a resturant. A 19 year old can not order his drink, but if his father does, then it's ok.
I turned 18 in December. It was pretty uneventful.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
