Hey guys,

I think I need some new headphones and I want them to be good.
I mean real headphones you put ON your ear and not IN your ear.

One of the not so good parts of my job is that I have to wear a suit pretty much every day, so design should play a role.
Budget is limited for headphones. Please only recommend me products below the 150 € mark.

I am really looking forward to see what oyu guys come up with.

What kind of sound signature do you like/ What music do you listen to?

Do you want them to rest on your ear or to fit around your ear?

Don't get Beats headphones. I saw one person mention that on this site and they got ridiculed.  I just got a cheap 30 dollar pair of Colby headphones since I don't really care about the best sound quality.  They are decently comfortable and sound good for the price.

Around 150 euros? Sennheiser HD 558

They cost me £50. Much better than beats, especially on value. Great sound for the price. They are quite comfortable too. Although, they is one little problem, the logo wears off the side of the headphones after a while, but that doesn't affect so.

These or Audio Technica M50. 

I can't recommend KOSS headphones enough. I have two pair myself. KOSS is the original stereo headphone manufacturer and their headphones feature a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.

They feature a high-quality sound at a reasonable price.

I have a pair of the PRO-4AAT headphones and they're an excellent headphone. They're a full-size ear cup, foldable, with a coiled cord, and include a 3.5mm plug at €64 through Amazon.

The other pair I have, and am wearing at the moment , is a set of SB/49s. A few things I like about them are the fact that once again, full ear cup, foldable, but they include a mic, and despite being incredibly thin wires, they have proven resistant to being sliced by rolling wheels. Both the mic and headphone plug on these are 3.5mm.

One other thing about both that I LOVE, single cord.  There is only one cord coming off of one of the ear phones, so you don't have to manage a Y cord in front of your neck, and you can easily swing around without the cord blocking one arm, or pulling. 

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pros which are great but they arent the prettiest thing. Id say if you can get a pair of attractive looking Senns then go for it. They are excellent headphones

why don't you guys like Beats btw? I have no experience with them, but I hear good things about it

1) Go to a store with a friend, and ask him to grab randomly 3 headphone sets, while you're hitting on the hot girl that works at the store.

2) Ask him to grab the cheapest possible, another middle priced and another at around 150€.

3) Try them, with the help of your friend, without you knowing which one it is.

4) Realize how you can't barely ear/feel any difference between models, thus you should go with the cheaper headphones, realizing overpriced headphones just carry that pricetag because they are a fashion items made mainstream by famous people who are paid to wear them, making the public act like a sheep herd.

5) Live a better life in peace with cheap headphones that perform just as good as those one with a "B".



NOTE:

Of course, if you're a musical guy, and sensitive to minor sound fluctuations to the point you can actually distinguish the sound quality and have the input equipment (not any smartphone or your random average laptop) to bring out the best of those pricey headphones, then go for it.
