It's hard to take anyone serious who doesn't list "games" among the advantages the Wii U has over the PS3 + PSV combo.

Yes, at the moment support ZERO released games the WiiU+WiiU-gamepad combo while I heard some games might support Crossplay on PS3 und PS Vita. WiiU is dooooooooooooomed!!!!

As for price wtf are people doing saying it is $300 verse $500? I highly, highly, highly doubt a person buying a Vita for cross functionality doesn't already own a PS3. It is $300 verse $250.

Since Sony is claiming themselves to be in the perfect position (with their slim PS3) to snatch up any consumer who doesn't opt for a Wii U at launch, then yes the discussion is about purchasing a PS3 and Vita compared to a Wii U, and not just Vita by itself.

sony themselves stated that they believe that the vast majority of vita buyers also own a ps3

Vast majority of early adopters, or vast majority for the rest of the Vita's existence?  From that perspective, either there will be no new PS3 owners for the rest of Vita's lifetime (not good for PS3 sales), or everyone who buys a Vita for the rest of it's lifespan will have already bought a PS3 within the last 5 years (not good news for Vita, i.e. you are automatically placing a 65 mil or less cap on Vita's lifetime sales).  You do realize that you are saying that no future PS3 buyers would be potential Vita purchasers?

i don't follow at all what you're tryinh to say honestly
