It's a combination of SRPG, ARPG and 3rd person shooter.  I don't know what category it belongs to.

I really want to play this game though, I like the art design and style.  Reminds me the FFT on PSP.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

So is this game a new IP, or is it part of another series?

So, in lifetime sales, the games didn´t reach > 1 million, if by any change, no MGS lover has bought a PS3, we can only expect 800k games + 800k PS3 lifetime in Japan, just for this game... right???

What? If no MGS lovers bought a ps3, then wouldn't a few hundred thousand be buying one when the game comes out? Or are you asking something different.

Also, if you include MGS2: Substance and MGS3: Subsistence, both games hit the 1 mil. mark.

Sorry, usually I eat some words, very common problem, at least for me... Ok, I meant:

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

Game has a sweet look to it, and who ever said PS3 was in trouble in Japan.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Well, that would be a lot of systems added to the ps3s total...

I think people should stop making these "lets see what saves the PS3!" threads.

Its getting abnoxious, just wait and see what happens what the outcome is.

And then discuss the results if positive, to get bragging rights.

the PS3's savior is not this game

it is :

YAKUZA 3

I bet the PS3 will outsold the Wii at the release of this game
(if the review are too bad, if it is not Lair I mean)

I'm assuming the database here is incomplete then which shows sales of around .7 million for each?

SRPG i imagine.  Just like "Future Tactics".  This reminds me of that game, but without the FPS(which rules) and with a cover system.

I'm still looking foward to Operation Darkness goes as far as SRPGs.

Dragon Quest always goes to whatever system is most popular in Japan at the time. For 9, it was the DS. For 10, it'll most likely be DS or Wii.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
