It's a combination of SRPG, ARPG and 3rd person shooter. I don't know what category it belongs to.

I really want to play this game though, I like the art design and style. Reminds me the FFT on PSP.

 SRPG i imagine.  Just like "Future Tactics".  This reminds me of that game, but without the FPS(which rules) and with a cover system.

I'm still looking foward to Operation Darkness goes as far as SRPGs.
