RS2 is one of my favourites games this gen, i would want a direct or spiritual sequel with the same but expanded gameplay mechanics

If possible i would like to see Wii U Gamepad, Wii MP and Pro Controller offered as a choice, but the thing is, Red Steel are known for it`s motion control games. Essentially, the use of swords is make RS games what they are and those work better with MPlus. No doubt about it.

For a 3rd game i would like to see the game combining the presentation from RS1 and the better controls from RS2.
A spiritual successor is probably the obvious step seeing as RS2 is not a sequel to the first anyway.

I definitely would want the motion controls. The problem is that there will never be a Red Steel 3. Red Steel 2 had great sword fighting controls and made it so there was no reason to use your gun while the first was more about the shooting. Believe it or not, I actually preferred the original game because the levels had some variety while the sequel was eight hours of the same thing. Also, no multiplayer? Not even local? Boo!!!

I'd welcome a swordfighting and shooting game the uses WM+, but the Red Steel series is dead.

I want to see games using hybrid controls - having the GamePad on your lap or on a table and using the remote and nunchuck. Best of both worlds.

And I'd actually put the motion controls of Red Steel 2 ahead of those for Skyward Sword, or any other Nintendo title using MotionPlus, because Nintendo don't use LiveMove2. The LiveMove2 middleware allows developers to have the MotionPlus controller self-calibrate whenever the remote is held still. That's why you don't need to recalibrate MotionPlus as long as you've calibrated it correctly before you start the game. Nintendo offering Down on the D-Pad as a hotkey for calibration is very poor in comparison.

And I wouldn't bet against a third game in the Red Steel series, Red Steel 2 met Ubisoft's sales expectations of 500K, although I'd prefer to see Killer Freaks From Outer Space first, the humour for that was right up my street.

I'm definitely getting ZombiU on launch day, I pre-ordered the ZombiU bundle here in the UK from Zavvi for £299.99 before they put the price up. Bargain! :oD

Us HD fans have been waiting for this game to jump ship to a real console for years now and Nintendo now pulls this?????????

No one on Nintendo console plays theese kind of games they are not old enough.

If this happens i will refuse to replay the 1,2 and 4th installment of this game and I will never touch a handheld again.

Oh man so angry this makes me I don´t know what to do, I think i will just visit the nearest elderly home and just kill everyone if this happens, this ruined my whole month.

I'd like an option between a pro controller and a wiimote.
