how many wiius are being sold in the country? if preorders are already gone we might only have a few million hardware sales, japan won't touch a shooter and EU is probably looking more at mario/zombie/pikman games.
shooters sell in NA, and if they only have a few million units then maybe BO2 at launch will have start up troubles.

3-4 million me thinks.

The separate screen multiplayer is imo an awesome feature. I'm hoping more games uses this feature.

Also the return of Wii-remote controls, that's a huge awesome plus. IR controls really have a great feel once you get used to them, something completely different from normal controllers and kb+m.

it'll sell more then the install base itself and cause a rift in the space time continuem.

2 or 3 million. Not nearly as well as its PS3/360 brethren, but strong enough to ensure its place on the system.

Why? Because this will be the first Nintendo Call of Duty since 3 that wasn't late and/or gimped, is attached to the hot new product of the holiday season, and will be selling for a long time.

False. It will be late.

Better one week late instead of 2 years late (CODMW: Reflex) lol.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I find it hard to see this selling too much over a million. The sales for every COD sequel on the Wii have decreased in numbers which suggests that the "hardcore" nintendo fanbase isnt too interested in the game. Even if you have a large number of ps3/xbox gamers who buy the Wii U, I'm not convinced they will actually buy COD on the Wii U. The reputation of nintendo's online added to the fact that most of their friends are probably on ps3/xbox means they will likely buy the games for the same console. Nintendo could have done a better job of attracting these gamers if they had set the price for Wii U games (not sure if Nintendo controls this or not) at $50 rather than the current $60 that I understand most games will retail at.

I don't see any other game other than the obvious one (Mario) outselling BLOPS2 in the Wii U launch window for a while though. Unless maybe Zombi U gets unbelievable reviews and builds incredible word of mouth.

I'm assuming most people will get Nintendo Land in the bundle if that's what they want.

As long as Nintendo has a lot of systems to go around CoD should sell fairly equivalently with the rising userbase.

im getting one so... +1 for me

About 1.4-1.8 million max. People won't be buying a WiiU to play Call of Duty.

if nintendo fans want to convice developers like bethesda or Rockstar you better buy some "hardcore games" not only nintendo... or this will become a wii HD in therms of game variety

anyways it must be a fun game and i hope for a good online

also i want Aliens colonial marines + AC III, as for "exclusives" Zombi U and NSMB U

The Call of Duty games do pretty well on the existing Wii as is, certainly profitable enough for Activision to keep making them.

I think BLOPS2 will do fine.

It's a very, very mainstream brand nowadays, hell most kids play CoD by the time they're 9-10 years old these days.

Beyond that, I don't know if any other Wii U game in the launch window has as much depth as BLOPS2 thanks to the online multiplayer and local multiplayer modes (Nintendo fans do love their local multi).

BLOPS2 will be one of those games that sells for a while on the Wii U too.
