Not sure about this. Unless things are notably more expensive in UK to USA then its alright. I got a better laptop a year ago for 900$ and your computer comes up as 850$. I bought mine from a retailer as well.
Or I could be wrong and my computer actually sucks.

@brendude yeah took your advice on the NZXT case and the cheaper gpu. Will look for a better gpu in time.

I do not exactly know the specifics. But I have an i7 processor, 620 HDD, 8gb Ram, and 1gb GPU (which he hasnt established yet.).

Mobile I7 CPUs are basically low teir desktop i5/i3s same with GPUs mobile GPUs are mid to low teir desctop GPUs even the most powerful SKUs.

The 7770 just got a price cut so that might be your best bet for a budget card. If you can afford the tier up the 7850/7870 are both good quality cards.
On the NVidia side, the 650 looks to be a good card, 660 if you can afford better.

They are. Also 20% sales tax and much better consumer protection by default. $300 Wii U = £250 = $405

It's always cheaper in the US, so unless he's willing to import, it won't be that cheap for him, otherwise it's seems to be a good worthy graphics card for the price
