the gamepad probably costs 50bucks or less to make and the console itself is probably around 200

anyone telling you that a console is manufactured at that cost is at the same level as current HD console is an idiot! the other consoles are about 200 but that includes profit for sony/MS and the sellers as well as the shipping and shit

Thank you for posting this. That guy seems to be just like those guys who went all butthurt when MonHun4 was for 3DS exclusive, or when Bayonetta 2 said Wii U exclusive.

edit: to be on topic, I know that's not how it's like. For any console you buy, the controller seems to be overpriced. It has always been like this for as long as I can remember. PS1, PS2, GC, Wii, etc. All controllers were expensive to buy relative to the system itself.
