IS 2005 coming back again?

Most consoles are sold out at launch. If its still sold out in 6 months after launch, then it could be 2005 again

Well, this is not really "at launch" yet, so it's a good sign, no doubt about it.

So if pre-orders are sold out, what does that mean for people like me who will just go to the store that week? I wonder how much is usually reserved for pre-order versus store.

That's great for nintendo but if I can't get one for myself after it's been out for over year like with the wii, I won't be waiting like last time.

Usually none is reserved for stores at launch because of in store pre-orders going on too?

So you didn't get one preordered? did you try Best Buy?

Indeed. I just checked all our (Swedish) online retailer and it was sold out everywhere here as well.

Had to go up to bestbuy to preorder mine they had plenty left in store.
