I honestly have zero interest in this game but the fact that it's now a Wii U exclusive was so worth it just to see the HD fanboys' heads explode and throw epic rage fits.

Maybe next the Wii U will get Catherine 2 or Persona 5 lol.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

that reminds me of something, i remember when android got instagram, iphone users posted the craziest stuff on twitter, shit like "i deleted instagram now from my iphone because i won't share it with bastards" or "instagram was great but now it will be shit" and such things!

Aww, aw de ps twee sicsty fanboys butthuwt? Hewe, have a bandaid for your booboo.

Seriously, cry me a river. I am so happy to hear this news, the true nature of fanboys across the internet is finally emerging, and the day they are served crow is fast approaching. I - Can't - Wait.

Well I think the real issue is the lack of loyalty from Platinum Games to their fans. It wasn't Nintendo or Wii fans that made Bayonetta a success, yet they get the sequel?

I'm gonna presume this is a timed exclusive and the HD twins are going to get an improved version. If this stays a Wii U exclusive then Platinum Games is going to lose a lot of fans.

Didn't read the initial post, hm?

There was no sequel. Sega said no. There wasn't going to be. Nintendo was responsible for it getting done. Fan loyalty doesn't mean squat if you can't make the thing in the first place.

Nintendo should keep it exclusive. They brought it back to life, after all.

is for this things that i am sometimes embarassed of calling myself a gamer... or the so-called hardcore gamer that MSONY fans have tried to put as the coolest guy because only plays M-rated games in HD. It's a shame that fanboyism is so flaming nowadays that people enrages because a game won´t be available in their "coolest console"

Sega likely canceled it about 2/3rds of the way through production, earlier this year when the company underwent a restructuring that supposed saw a lot of games and functions of the company eliminated. Nintendo then intervened, having a contact with the studio over The Wonderful 101, offering to publish the game under their helm. Sega's assent was only needed because the Bayonetta IP is owned by that company.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Aye, which is good. Sega gave Nintendo their assent and the game got made all the way. Kudos on the smart business decision by Nintendo and Platinum Games gets a revenue stream that enables them to continue getting paid and making good games. That's pretty much win win.

the first bayonnetta wasn't really a success, that's why there wasn't gonna be a sequel

and that's like the classic angry-fanboy phrase: "yeah it's a exclusive now but it will surely suck so they will make a cooler, improved, fantastic, upper dupper better version in my cooler better console"
