The cost of the controller by itself is just to make money off of stupid consumers that buy it independently, thinking that it'll upgrade their Wii.

Lol. A fool and his money will part soon.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.
Of course it won't sell like the Wii, but I thought $299 was the expected price. It was for me anyway.

Does the WIi U not support two tablets? |
It does, but I'm not sure if more than a couple of games will support it. Maybe Call of Duty and Pikmin 3 will, but I can't think of any other launch window titles that even support it as an option. As a general rule, local multiplayer games seem to assume that any additional controllers will either be Wiimotes or the Pro controllers.
I think the price is right. Specially considering those who already have any kind of Wii controllers.
PS3 was a new gen console... Wii U uses outdated graphics from 2005... I think it should be priced at $149'99 if it wants to stay competitive.
I trust no one, not even myself.
At that price I think many parents are going to get their children that console and I might but I'll have to know what games are going to come out for it next year first.
