So... Is Bayonetta for PS3 really that bad? Even after patch?

Trust me if you've played the 360 version the PS3 version can be a horror show. It's a lot better after the patch but still inferior.

I thought it was great, but yea it could have been even better without tearing, with stable framerates and overall sharper textures like the 360 version.
Still, I found it pretty much impossible to play the game on hard mode as I couldn't time the evasions correctly - whether or not that was caused by unstable framerates or by me just becoming old and slow I don't know.
Seems a little bit stupid to me to ignore 130 millions user base to go exclusive when this game was previously released for X360 and PS3 and not the Wii...
Sega just shot themselves in the foot. I don't know how much the rest of you know about Japanese culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can become successful by being an a******. If you screw someone over in Japan, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is the Japanese public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Bayonetta 2, nor will they purchase any of Segas games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Sega has alienated an entire market with this move.
Sega, publicly apologize and make Bayonetta 2 on Ps360 too or you can kiss your business goodbye.

I didn't. And Im actually blind about those differences, i saw Sleeping Dogs on PS3 and X360, and for me, they looked the same (though i heard something else). I'm more worried about framerate.
Last question - is this game hard on Normal?

Is this a joke comment?
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Sega had practically cancelled the game. Nintendo picked up back up and are publishing it, not Sega.
The rEVOLution is not being televised

What did I just say? "did very well for such a small console install base." Did you read "did very well" and ignored the rest? And it sold 1.6 million on GC and 2.2 million on PS2. Unless you want to call Capcom wrong on their own figures. |
Plus a couple of million on Wii, which takes it past the 4+million - so in fact didn't spoil sales at all by 'scattering'
