My turret is ready for a big over-the-top mess!!!

absolutely not.
Borderlands 1 though very fun was boring once complete. My friends and I played it for 3-4 days before completing it. $60 for 3 days of entertainment? lmao.
will wait for a complete edition or $20 price.

Wow! You surely not buying a lot of games at 60$ then.

@Topic

I preordered it through gamestop last week. Which wasn't my first choice mind you. I prefer to preorder games via a online retailer, but for whatever reason nobody is offering release day shipping. Which is a must with Borderlands, because you want to be on par with your coop buddies, and ideally you want to be as far ahead as possible. Which is part of the reason that I planned a week of vacation to coincide with this games release.

@Newcloud

Your probably thinking of Left 4 Dead. Unless your friends are particularly anal. Everyone can be the exact same character if you all so choose. Which ironically didn't happen too much in the first game, because the characters were really well balanced. No character was particularly stronger then any other, and people would routinely drop out to switch characters to maximize leveling opportunities.

@usrevenge

You may want to read some previews before deciding on the question of longevity. Granted the storyline for the first game was on the short side. This time however they are saying twenty to thirty hours for the main plot line alone, and that isn't including all of the side quests. Which were pretty fun in the first game anyway. So you are probably looking at about sixty hours to play one character through the game start to finish. Even if you aren't going to be bothered by character building. I am finding it hard to imagine your going to burn through that much content in just a few days, and if you can do that. Then there aren't many games outside of Halo or Call of Duty that could possibly satisfy you.

Oh, to all you guys out there I have to ask: Do any of you have the "and they'll tell two friends" achievement on Borderlands 1 on PS3? I need it and it's really the only one I'm in any way thinking I'll have a hard time getting.

On Ps3?  Any chance we can arrange a 5 minute meetup to make it happen?
