i haven't had any problems with you lot but. you seem to be having some problems with being on the same page when it comes to certain things, like the Sony D Force/MDF.

just be fair, and always be on the same page. and if there's a situation that deserves special attention, or that gets questioned by the community.

work together to find the best solution, cause doing things at your own discretion, isn't always the way to mod.

I loved AIM back in the day, but it feels a bit redundant with facebook, skype, texting etc.  Good times back in my teens though.

You guys are doing a crappy job because you nuke and ban for every little thing. It's hard to say something is horrid, or that one console sucks. If you have legit reasoning, it isn't a bad thing. I mean, I shouldn't get banned because I say the WiiU blows because of X or Y. That is my opinion. Since when is being honest, even brutally honest a bad thing?

And then there are other things. People are far to sensitive here. Words like troll or fanboy, something like that aren't automatically horrible. Context. I get stopping attacks on people (bullying), but loosen up on the other areas. You should be able to say, "I hate fanboys" or something. Cause lets face it, it just means that your judgement is clouded by some kind of loyalty. Is that really a bad thing? Most of the time not.

But really... Yea, stop banning/modding comments of displeasure about products. I want to know why people hate something. If they just say, "Metal Gear Solid sucks." Sure... Ban, that is bashing. But if you put reasoning it all the sudden is justified and might be helpful to someone concerning a issue about the product. Say for instance, "WiiU is an utter piece of garbage. They don't know what the hell they are doing. No HDD of significance, nor any real 3rd party support again. Horrible console." This is valid because you're stating why you dislike something, which is fine. PS, these aren't real examples for me, cause I love MGS and such.

Mods, take this as an example:

"None. ZombiU is garbage. Only "good" games are multiplatform, and why buy a game on an inferior platform. Especially anything multiplayer related. So right now, they have no "wow" type titles. WiiU's best title is Mario, and that is old in feel. But then again, that is Nintendo's fault."

This got me banned because a mod didn't like that I called the WiiU an "inferior platform" when in my opinion. It is. And I still believe that. That isn't bashing, I am stating my opinion on a product that brings me displeasure.


Or this post that got me banned for "trolling". We can't say trolling, but you can call me one? Come on!

"Course not, it's old and washed up hardware. Only the WiiU can even compete with the PS3 and X360, and yet we don't know if 3rd party devs will support it. So this is a big guess still. I just think their model on the Wii was extremely poor. And with the WiiU tech, seems far to unimpressive. I don't hate Nintendo at all, but they deserve to fail this generation, so they can prioritize themselves as I think it's needed. They need to get in touch with gamers. They are always on a different planet doing their own thing, and make us gamers happy very little of the time. Sony is the only one not faulting big time on this. Hence why Sony exclusives are so good compared to the competition, because they make it a priority. MS wants to be the center of your living room. Gaming is almost 2nd hand."

Displeasure with reasoning. I don't get why you mods try to control the site by trying to control peoples opinions by fear of a ban. Again, I for one want to see and hear what people dislike, it helps you gauge the material far more fairly. But with all the modding, the worst you hear is, "I don't like the game". People are affraid to call something for what it is.

They are definitely doing a great job. I wonder why I don't get to log on every two weeks. Signatures are even edited, if we're lazy.

So who was the admin who banned you? I could bet some money on one particular admin who is keen to ban that kind of opinions.

First the plus side: All the infos we got on vg charts is great. Even if they arent always 100 % correct this site give us good idea of how well some product sell. So very good job here.

In terms of fighting against forum trolls i think the MODERATORS CAN DO A WAY BETTER JOB. Seriously vg charts forum is one of the worst i have ever seen in my life. Beside of some threads there are mostly threads that have only one purpose to bash and troll against one company and there fans. Even the way you can talk with some people here on vg charts is nearly impossible sometime because no matter what argument you bring you will always trademarked as the stupid fanboy even if you try to bring normal conversation into some thread.
It wouldnt be a bad thing if the moderators would be a little bit harsher with some people.
