You're correct Khan, he had made several similar posts and was just crossing the line into the unacceptable. Doing this is what gave him the ban.

The latest news for some of the stuff on the 13th was only posted on the 25th though. I'd expect something in the middle of next week.

Although this isn't something the mods can really help with. They know as much about what ioi is doing with the sales as we do.

There was absolutely nothing ban worthy about my post. First I made a comment about how Watch Dogs sucked. Then I made a joke about the WiiU not having M-rated sandbox games. I recommended people buy Lego City. You want to know I recommended it? Because it's a pretty damn good game. I was not bashing Nintendo fans, I wasn't even bashing Nintendo. I've been banned before for trolling Nintendo, and did not complain because it was deserved. This was not. Utterly ridiculous that I recieved a 3 day ban for that post.

The problem with your post (I would assume) is the bolded section. The way you worded the post doesn't come off as a joke, and given your history why should we expect it to be? It sounds like "Oh, why don't you play this game instead? That's right, it isn't on the Wii U! So go play some kiddy game instead". You may have been meaning it in a sincere manner, but that's how it looks and given the context and the history, it's not that surprising the post was moderated.

If you have a ban record for trolling, then the likelyhood that a joke is interpreted as mockery increases considerably. But it's not just that, you've built an image of being a notorious Nintendo hater in this community. Therefore you've wasted your chance to make such jokes as every attempt is prone to get moderated.

Because you never make jokes about Sony and Microsoft right?

I'm merely suggesting a reason; as you would likely want as you posted in the thread. Khan will have to answer exactly why but I'd be surprised if it was for something different.

That's why posting history matters. I don't have the image of being one of "the usual suspects" that looks for every opportunity to downplay/bash/mock a certain company. Plus my jokes targeted at Nintendo have the same zing, so the intent is read as the joke itself is the motivation instead of it being some malicious motive. Other users that seemingly get away with everything are badgenome and noname2200.

Jokes are supposed to be funny. Poking fun at Wii U only owners who cant play certain games isnt funny, its just antagonistic and will piss people off.

If you REALLY wanted to suggest LEGO City Undercover, you wouldnt have taken potshots about Sleeping Dogs and GTA.

When people talk about your history, they arent necessarily talking about your mod history but the general, all around anti-Nintendo stance you are known to hold.

My thoughts.
