i ask this because i am sitting at  triple A baseball game right now and these guys behind me are talking about getting madden with their student loans. Then the fat goetee one says he got a genesis as a kid then a PS one, PS2 and now a pS3 which he is buying Madden for.

i have never heard of such a thing. Are any of you like that?

There's no way you can get Madden with student loans. Some sort of grant, maybe, but why would you go into debt for any purpose other than tuition?

Not everyone has played a Nintendo console. I have a friend that went from Genesis to Xbox to 360.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

I played Sega for my Arcade fix and Nintendo for my kiddy fix when I was younger. Before playstation sega was the one with the more mature titles.

What a waste of loan money at least get a good game.

Once you get your student loan, the organization that gives it doesn't care what you use it for as long as you pay it back eventually.  The catch, of course, is that they make sure you are actually enrolled first, meaning that if you buy other things with the money, then you still have the matter of your tuition to pay.

OT: Not me!  I've owned every system they've made since the NES, including handhelds.  I even touched a Virtual Boy once.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

You are definitely missing something if you have not played a nintendo console yet... no mario, pokemon, DK, etc. I have played and owned most consoles, but I guess if all you want is sports games with good graphics then these guys will go for what provides that.

Unless you take out a personal loan for tuition, i don't think that's how it works. I know in my case the loan disbursements went directly to the school. You get tax penalties if you use them for anything else anyway

Though now i've derailed the thread. Now i have to ban myself

You might be surprised by how many people have only owned a Wii. Sure it is a Nintendo console if that's your concern but they have still missed out on gaming otherwise.

As for me it goes Atari - NES - Gameboy - Genesis - PlayStation - N64 - Gameboy Color - Gameboy Advanced - PlayStation 2 - Xbox - PlayStation 3 - Nintendo DS - PlayStation Vita

EDIT: Forgot my 64

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I haven't...

PLOT TWIST!!!!!

It's pretty easy. Go from Geneis, to playstation, to xbox, and so forth. It all depends on the age of the gamer really. Me personally, I had only owned a N64 console, I played nintendo games before, but never owned a NES or SNES.
