Am I wrong in thinking a "Saga" only starts on the 4th story? e.g 3=trilogy 4+ = saga?

I like to think that I don't care about this game anymore, I try to shrug it off and just get on with looking forward to the other JRPG's coming out or whatever.
Then I go watch that bloody E3 2006 trailer and remember why I was so impressed with it in the first place.
I'm playing FF XIII at the moment. And trying desperately to like it. But just... nope. The combat system is alright but everything else just isn't there, especially the story. The thought of a second sequel to that before we hear ANY new news about Versus is pretty heartbreaking, in all honesty!

Actually, 14 is looking pretty good.
It's just that I'd never pay a monthly subscription to play this because I can't commit myself to play like that. Hopefully they make it a one-time fee somewhere down the line.

truth be told, i stopped caring about it a while ago, its just the half ass way they are dealing with it, if its canelled say its so, if its delayed say so, say something instead of "please wait for more info", any other company would not have done this.
good job S-E; introduce a new game(s) rather than work on one that's been in production for 6 years.... at this point Versus will probably be changed to a new title and release on the PS4/Wii U and maybe the nextbox.
I don't get what square is trying to do with XIII....you'd think by now they'd realize that they're not going to reach the desired fandom/sales they wanted
