Bleacher Report came up with Pre-Training Camp Power charts for all 30 NBA Teams. Now the the free agency dust has (mostly) settled, what teams do they think have what it takes to take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy?

30. Charlotte Bobcats (Home town represent!)
29. Houston Rockets
28. Orlando Magic
27. Detroit Pistons
26. Sacramento Kings
25. Cleveland Cavaliers
24. Washington Wizards
23. Portland Trailblazers
22. New Orleans Hornets
21. Toronto Raptors
20. Phoenix Suns
19. Golden State Warriors
18. Milwaukee Bucks
17. Minnesota Timberwolves
16. Atlanta Hawks
15. Utah Jazz
14. Chicago Bulls
13. Dallas Mavericks
12. Philadelphia 76ers
11. Brooklyn Nets
10. New York Knicks
9. Los Angeles Clippers
8. Indiana Pacers
7. Memphis Grizzlies
6. Boston Celtics
5. Denver Nuggets
4. San Antonio Spurs
3. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Oklahoma City Thunder
1. Miami Heat

So what are your thoughts? How did your team fare according to the folks over at BleacherReport (Amp, SuperChunk, Metallicube... how nuts is this guy to underestimate the power of the Bulls? )?

Bulls are lucky they even got that high. They are acknowledging that with Derrick Rose's injury this season is a wash, so they are gonna free up what they can for the 2013-2014 season.

The Magic should be dead last instead of the Bobcats., and the Rockets will be better than you think with Jeremy Lin.

I agree. I think the Bobcats, while still a bad team, won't take home the worst record in the NBA. I think Orlando will take the "crown" for that one (after what they got for Dwight, they're obviously aiming for draft picks next summer).

And the Rockets have a lot of untested young players. It'll be interesting to see how they fare in the super-competitive Western Conference.

I think that the Dallas Mavericks should be in the top ten. Also the Houston Rockets at 29 seems too low also probably will end up in the top 20 when the season is done. Utah at 15 seems a bit high also I think they going to slip a bit this year and not make the playoffs I think the Timberwolves are going to take the 8th spot in the west especially if they can avoid a ten game loosing streak like they had last season. Miami will probably repeat. They will have a easier time making it to the finals since they really don't have any strong competition in the east and the teams in the west will beat themselves up just making it to the finals. I'm thinking the Heat should win the finals against whoever comes out of the west in about five games. But since they talked so much smack two years ago when the trio got started nobody is going to really take them serious until they three-peat. Also the Nets at 11 seems way too high they really did nothing in the off season besides resigning Deron William. So resigning him and moving to Brooklyn is going to make them win about 20 more game I think not.

Ugh, after Rose's injury which essentially kills two of our seasons, and the Miami freaking Heat winning the title, the NBA is dead to me.. Just can't deal anymore

I still think its a pretty save bet to say that the Bobcats will end up with the worst record they only won seven games last season. I'm going to be surprised if they win anything close to twenty games.

Local team at 21 (Raptors). Don't have much hope from them.

Raptors ahead of Blazers?

The Bulls actually are rated pretty much exactly about where I'd put them. They lost a couple some key bench players, replaced them with a washed up Nazr Mohammed and guys that I never heard of, and got back Kirk Hinrich (the best offseason move for them). It looks like they are trying empty some payroll to reload next year and are convinced that Rose won't return this season at all. They will probably be the seventh or eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

The top three teams are spot on. So are the Bobcats (sorry Smeags).

The Knicks at 10 are WAY too high!

I really don't care about the NBA that much anymore since the entire playoffs are fixed anyways.

So Smeags, does this mean you are doing the NBA thread for the season?

I saw this and am shocked the nuggets are ranked so high, and then I read articles saying they retained good free agents , signed another good one, and were involved in a huge trade bringing some supposed great guy I never heard to Denver. WoW. I might have to watch basketball this year. Still the Nuggets have the same owner as the Colorado, Avalanche, and I would rather see the guy's millions go to them not the Nuggets. Kroenke will always pay for a good Nuggs team not because he likes basketball or Denver, but because he cares more about money making than anything else. Still, looking good!

Hopefully, the Nugs can finally beat Kobe in the playoff!!!!!!
