It all depends on whether it's any good or not. I haven't really formed an opinion yet.

If the game is between 20 and 30 I'd buy it, but I'm predicting it to be a pack in title.

And that's my biggest problem with the Wii U. The spare screen is cool for single player stuff, from what I've seen. What's the multi player doing that can't be done on something like a PS3? Four players on a screen and one player with a tiny screen? What's stopping Microsoft or Sony from making a game with four players on their own screen and.......one player with his own full sized screen because (and this may shock you) there's this thing called the internet. |
you know, i've been watching a lot of wii U videos lately and that's bascially what i've come to the conclusion of also. there is practically nothing that i've seen on the multiplayer front that normal consoles (ps360wii) couldn't do via online or handhelds (3DS, vita) can't just outright do right now anyways. from a single player experience the only thing that is actually sort of unique is the "scan the screen" thing which if you actually look at it as it is implemented in games like zombie U the main screen freezes and says "look at gamepad" which basically defeats the point of two screens.
OT - nobody likes low budget, low quality mini-game collections unless it has nintendo's name on it hence why nintendoland will sell tens of millions.

you're a funny guy.
OT like WiiSPorts before it, no I would not buy it on its own, unless it was really cheap, like below 20 bucks
I would pay $10 for it at max. I just have too many other enjoyable options to spend my money on.

Well, this may shock you, but Nintendo specializes in this thing called "local multiplayer," and a family or a group of friends who are in a room together trying to play a multiplayer game wouldn't be able to take advantage of this dual-screen technology you call "the internet."
Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Wii U, however, will be capable of both.

Nintendo has spent countless hours quality-checking this title to make it the perfect system seller and franchise promoter. If you want to see the result of combining all Nintendo's major franchises in one packages, you shouldn't resist this purchase.
I, however, would probably buy it for the F-Zero mini-game alone.
I will probably pick up a copy. Seems to have some cool local multiplayer games on it.
If the game it's bundle with the console then sure whatever, if not, I not going to pay $50-$60 for a party game even if it is Nintendo related
