Cant freaking wait!

While I thought FFXIII wasnt a bad game at all I didnt love it. FFXIII-2 however I freaking loved everything abiut it so Ill gladly purchase the final entry in the trilogy

I prefered FXIII over FFXIII-2 but I have to say that FFXIII-2 is a lot more fun to platinum and it has a lot more post-play content.

But I hate hate hate the slot machines. What were they thinking?

There was  improvement in gameplay, but Noel seems like he injects himself with estrogen and the story is dull even if positive. I think the grinding is too much. The improvements are out weighed by worse aspects. I hope this does not sell as well so squareenix moves on for the better.

We can only cross are fingers. We could of had Versus out by now if SE wasn't wasting there time on the XIII series.

I haven't platinumed the game but to get to the end of the story, there's no grinding involved. In fact, I kinda got sidetracked and did some side missions and my team got overpowered without even trying.

I actually preferred FFXIII-2 to FFXIII. The open nature of it was preferable to the linear structure of FFXIII and I thought the story was better - I actually cared about beating the final boss (in contrast to FFXIII). Which is why I will probly get the sequel.

Agree with you about the slot machines tho. This game had one of the worst jackpot system ever.

It was tons of grinding if you tried to catch monsters. I know the Ame can be challenging in some side quests, but otherwise I find it an easy grinder. Other games can make grinding fun, but this one did not. You can just click, click A all day and play with one hand. So easy it was boring, and not even a well developed story. I consider it a failure of incredible magnitude. Wasted potential.

I still need to eventually get XIII-2. Still shocked that I continually avoid it like the plague.

Probably because I want something different.

I enjoyed 13 over quite a few main entry FF titles, it's just that people are more vocal as to what they don't like now more than ever before for obvious reasons.
