ST: "Oh, I know. Are we ever going to get it?"

Iwata: "And, yeah, accidentally we were discussing that there are huge fans from Western countries for the Mother series [laughs].

ST: "So, someday? Someday?" [I stand up to shake his hand]

Iwata: "[laughs] Thank you. Great to see you!"

feel like they'd lose out on some sales there, what with the fan made patch already out.

Haven't personally played it but i'm sure most of the core has.

Mother 4 though... i'd be all over that.

Earthbound was one of those games i always regretted not being able to get when my videostore closed down and sold there stock.  (Having come across it via rental long after it was out of print at Toys R Us.  My videogame shop as a kid.)

The only hope for Mother is Mother Brain.

I've never played any of the Mother games. I remember seeing the trailer for Earthbound 64 back in the day though and thought it looked awesome. Still does, actually.

I haven't played any of the series, it would help if NoE actually localised any of them. A Mother 1, 2 and 3 remake collection for the 3DS would be perfect for me.
