I tell you what, I do know where you are coming from tho. PSP owners are probably really afraid Vita will be a repeat offender with massive yr long game droughts. I doubt it but its a rational fear. It is also asking a lot of money in this economy (although in Sony's defense, the PSP was around the same price originally).

Personally, I will be waiting for at least 3 games to release on PS4 that I want before getting it. I bought a PS3 with one game, Heavenly Sword. I loved that game but I spent the rest of my time with PS2 games. At least with the Vita I had Modnation(big fan of the series), Uncharted:GA, and Super Stardust Delta(CRACK!!!) right from the start.

Bolded: Not over here it wasn't o.O. PSP cost me 16,000 Icelandic Krónur in 2005 and Vita costs 50,000 now for Wi-Fi only and 65,000 (at best) Wi-fi and 3G


O_o?......................... Crazy talk. Yea dude, I would be waiting too lol. 

PS. I am assuming 16,000 is something like $160.00 and 50,000 is $500.00 in US dollars?

I also find it quite funny no one has chosen the Smart Device option.....

Like with all consoles, handheld or portable early adoption is just to expensive. It's better to wait a couple years.

Im not really interested in portables. I see them as competing with consoles in terms of what games I would buy and on which device . However, Im a bit interested now that you have the crossbuy feature - a ps3 version of some games could get me a psv version. Its tempting but I think I will wait for a price drop and more games.

I don't have a Vita yet because:

1. I'm broke!!!
2. There isn't much originality in the games. Most of them seem better on the PS3
3. 3G isn't worth it, not with 4G becoming mainstream, and crappy AT&T
4. I'm waiting on a killer bundle; something akin to the PSP Entertainment Packs with a killer color, or the 3DS bundles Nintendo had last year. The ACIII + White Vita bundle may do the trick.
