Everything from the archaic camera and controls, to the coma-inducing pacing, to the ugly graphics, to the "oooo look how artsy and quirky we are hurr durr" story is just plain bad I'd say.

The shooting sections are bad. The rest is great. That simple for me, really.

And the story pacing was brilliant, very deliberately Twin Peaks-esque, which I loved.

That's fair...it's a very acquired taste, I recognise that. But I love it.

Now, the game isn't great, and can't hope to match Xenoblade, but it's still fun. 4 is far too low, 7 as a minimum I'd say...but his arguments (aside from the battle system) are accurate.

I've had the game since February and it's a solid 8/10, so it's a good game in it's own right, just far inferior to Sakaguchi's past games.

Buy it expecting an 25-30 hour long linear action game with RPG elements and you won't be too disappointed.

Cant companies sue this guy because he is badmouthing/ lying about games on purpose? This is obviously not opinion its making money at somebody elses expense.

I mean if I say things about a person that are not true and might even cost this guys job or something that ruins his life  etc  I can get sued.
