Most people would probably say Monster Hunter Tri-, but I haven't spent enough time with that to render a verdict.

If the answer can be judged purely based on how many hours one might put into the game, then it is easily Smash Bros Brawl for me. Over 350 hours just on the local multiplayer.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

To me "hardcore" would have to be a game that contains a lot of re-playability and solid difficulty in order to master the game.

With that, I'd have to go with New Super Mario Bros. It has to be the most played game on my Wii. Funny part is the game is actually harder playing coop.
