It is the best selling ps classic after ff7 so it seems there's a pretty huge audience for it. Though this could have to do with PS all stars as well.
Time for hype

It's probably nothing.
It would be awesome if they rebooted the series, I've never played it but it could be a strong JRPG name and the reviews for the original were excellent.

They already released it on PSN here. So... VITA SAVED! |
I think they are gonna call The last guardian, legend of dragoon now...it's just the most logical explanation
ot: most probably have nothing to do with it but I wonder if this is ps all stars related..sure hope so

Just so you all know, they were already making a Legend of Dragoon sequel but cancelled it , maybe they're rethinking that.

While The Legend of Dragoon's imminent release onto the PSN is news in and of itself (it will come out on May 1st for a yet-undisclosed sum of money), even bigger news was tucked away in the post. It appears that a sequel to the game was once in development.
"I still occasionally hear from fans of The Legend of Dragoon, and many want to know if there is a sequel," Yoshida admitted. "LOD2was put into preproduction after I left the Japan Studio, but was eventually cancelled for some unknown reason, and the team members moved on to different projects."

this is the first time i hear about this game, what system was it released on and was it that good?

I think if a character would show up in All-Stars the trademark would have been renewed a bit earlier than now. Perhaps they have a character pinned for some future All-Stars DLC?
I say this because I don't want to get my hopes up for a new game.

Realeased during the glory days of JRPG's on the original Plastation, even though reviews and sales were "meh", the people that played it pretty much became a huge cult for the game, they loved it and wanted more. It released in 1999.
