The summertime is always a slowtime for new releases. Were approaching the middle of august and the new games are slowly starting to come out. Basically,it's the calm,before the storm. So what is everybody going to purchase for the rest of 2012? I plan on buying assassin's creed 3 and kindgom hearts for the 3DS. I'm seriously considering getting sleeping dogs,but I'm still debating on that one. that's pretty much it for me. 

Well, if I buy a Wii U, it will be alongside piling, Mario, and Zombi U.

Otherwise, I'm getting Kirby's Dream Collection, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Halo 4, and Paper Mario and Animal Crossing if those two come out this year.

I have a huge "maybe" list. I may get the Wii U and one or more launch games, Pokemon Black/White 2, or any number of 3DS titles depending on reviews and my budget.

Castlevania: Mirrors of Fate - Looks like an interesting Hybrid of genres
Epic Mickey - I like this developer
Harvest Moon - Looks like a decent point to leap onto the series
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon - If it's not too short
Monster Hunter 3G - If it exists
NSMB2 - If I can't wait for a more anticipated release
Paper Mario - Very likely buy
Professor Layton 5 - If it advances the series in some way

I'll definitely get a Wii U, but I don't know what I'll buy with it. Nintendo Land, if it's a budget price probably. Zombi U if it turns out well. NSMBWiiU if it's out this year. Luigi's Mansion 2 is a definite as is Paper Mario. I'll probably get Epic Mickey 2, if they deliver on the promise of the first game. The 3DS Epic Mickey is another possibility.

Other than that, IDK. I'm not much into shooters, so not much on the HD consoles really appeals to me. Maybe The Last Of Us. I'll probably Gamefly Playstation All Stars out of curiousity, but if I'm pleasantly surprised I may purchase it. Halo 4 is a possibility if the single player is improved enough.

I am getting Guild Wars 2, and the free games I am looking at are Planetside 2 and Dust 514. I need to add some console games to the list.

Depends on funds, really. Ideally:

PS3 - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, Journey, Black Ops, Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 3 (all cheap used, not brand new), Assassin's Creed III.

PSV - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, Retro City Rampage, Ragnarok Odyssey, Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified, Assassin's Creed III Liberation

3DS - Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, New Super Mario Brothers 2

No Wii games coming out this year at all, and I'm not getting a WiiU until I have more spare cash and the system has something that interests me (I like mario and Rayman, but that's not enough for a 400 dollar system). Might get Halo 4 solely for the fact it's the only halo that's ever looked interesting to me.

All the consoles look to have better 2013 years than 2012 years, with games like Grand Theft auto, The Last of Us, and Gears of War Judgement all coming out next year.
