Speed and Twister are definitely worse than most of the movies you listed in your post (I don't say all because I haven't seen all of them). They are way, way worse.
Don't confuse being entertaining, which I agree that both of them are, with being good, which they are not.

Quality vs Entertainment is another debate, one that I'm not sure you want to open. Well, at least I don't want to be involved in it.
But movies can be good and entertaining at the same time, and there are plenty of those in the OP.

Yes, some votes are strange or simply it's that they hate those movies for whatever reason and don't think about their quality.
That's what happens with votes, not always the best wins (something that has happened even with the Oscars)
