that was just MS building the hype, not the real name for sure
i call it nextbox most of the time. sometimes i say something like "i think the next xbox ....."
and i think durango would be also ok.
While that article annoyed the hell out me as well, I prefer calling it Xbox 3. It makes complete sense.

I am curious to see what that post was moderated from.
Anyhow, Nextbox (however it is spelled) is what some are calling it. I had giving a nod to Durango actually as a name for it. But I had spoke against 720? Why 720? It is like Wii2, which people were calling it, which actually does make a bit of sense, because it was considered the next Wii, but hadn't followed any of the historical naming conventions Nintendo used.
And heck no, those aren't the only two options, because people have called it more than that.
