Because they are new news. We didn't have that data as Sony has separated the gaming business into it's own division.

How woud you call majyor flops like Starhawk, Sorcery and Twisted Metal? I am sure they made Sony rich beyond measure. You see even if you like something doesn´t mean that you have to worship them. Sometimes you have to critical about things your favourite whatever does.

my point is, NO, the year 2000 wasnt Ps2 vs DC at all
actually some of the best selling Nintendo 64 and PS1 games were released that year

The PS1 has raped the N64, and I know that for sure , it has destroyed it. And I was the only idiot who bought the N64. But I was a kid, and it had Zelda.

And has there ever been a Playstation vs Dreamcast. It would be the same thing to say Me vs Klitschko, is a fight, maybe on paper but otherwise not really.

also PS1 raped hard in terms of game library and sales, but top games wise, the N64 was ahead imo, and i believe im not the only one ;)

man i remember when the DC came out a friend bought one... i so wanted one... i think 8 months before i had just picked up a ps1 though, so it was no dice... by the time i had enough of my own money to buy a console I picked up a xbox over a ps2 about 5 months after the xbox came out, I was talked into it, and ended up loving it, i did get a ps2 later for  a few games i really wanted, 

 

in retrospect i hate the fact i traded in all my ps1 games during the move… might be why i keep all the games even bad ones i buy now …
