now I am going to try it.
This isn't going to work well. The game is a massively single player game and the entire reason people left is because they leveled up a character to max and realized there was nothing fun to do except start over with a new character.
If they're making that entire experience free, and only charging for extras and new content that no one cares about, this is going to fail.
I loved playing through ToR with the different story-lines, but it is not an MMO and cannot use an MMO-styled F2P model. Here's hoping they somehow figure out a great F2P model to use...

No what you need to do is get to work on KOTOR 3 now. Forget about this...or at least don't focus on it too much.

her? Dude?
Dragon Age II
Mass Effect 3
Star Wars the Old Republic
Well done Bioware
I bought The Old Republic the first week it came out, I really enjoyed it at first, but around level 41 I stopped playing, looks like a lot of people did the same :/
Oh well, I'll definitely be playing it again now though :D
This is why I didn't buy it. I knew that it'd go F2P once they realized that they'll never have enough subs to justify it. Costly lesson for EA.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
