What a very old shool list. Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and a Lufia remake, plus games which are numerical sequals or similar structure to SNES/PS1 era JRPG's.

and no Chrono Trigger :-O!

Have you tried Final Fantasy: The 4 Hero's of Light, Tactics, or Suikoden?

Magical StarSight and Contact
heard of them?
they are good and original

Dragon Quest 9
Radiant Historia
M&L: Bowsers Inside Story
M&L: Partners in Time
Pokemon Diamond
Pokemon Black
Normally I don't count ports/remakes, but I'll put Chrono Trigger on the list. I haven't finished it yet but I'm playing through for he first time, and I like it.

Dont ask me to put them in order, that would take way more thinking than I want to do. But if I had to choose th number 1, it would probably be either Dragon Quest IX or Pokemon Diamond. I'm kind of leaning more towards Dragon Quest, because it is a more enjoyable storyline, and its also the first and only Dragon Quest game I've played, so it feels fresher than Pokemon games i guess

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I have, if I manage to beat what I own I'll consider them, but I doubt I'll get them unless they are on clearance. I just have too many games to work on and know I won't manage to get to them.

I haven't played 10 DS RPGs, but this is how I'd rank the ones I played...

1. TWEWY
2. SMT: Devil Survivor 2
3. SMT: Strange Journey
4. Devil Survivor
5. Infinite Space
6. DQ IX
7. Avalon Code

I see nobody has listed Infinite Space at all. I actually didn't like the game at all at first, but it really grew on me. The game is easily 50+ hours (main story alone) and the story is one large epic space opera. So many characters, both protagonists and villains. Many star systems, many planets, many governments. It's a war story mainly, but it's very engaging. It does have supernatural elements though, and gets freaky near the end. The game's a little expensive, but worth it if you're interested.

I see nobody listed Devil Survivor 2 either. Probably because it came out late (just came out late Feb.). Anybody who hasn't played it should. Better than the 1st IMO.

I have to try Radiant Historia and DQ5 eventually.

I bought Infinite Space last month because it's made by the guys who did Vanquish, and reviews say that the story is on par with Mass Effect and XenoBlade. From what I hear this is an incredibly under the radar type game that most people missed.

After I beat Radiant Historia, it's a toss up between Infinite Space, Golden Sun, and Pokemon Conquest for me to play. I'll likely do Conquest because Black/White 2 is only 2 months away, and want something short, but it is on my to do list, and close to the front.

yeah i know :D

Infinite space is very deep in both story and customization, but the mechanics felt odd to me, still a good game though
