Forums - General - GOOD DEED Of The Day Thread! What was yours?

http://gooddeedaday.com/

I came accross this website yesterday and it motivated me to do small good deeds every day, not just one..more if possible!

A good deed can be something as simple as picking up flowers for someone close to show them you love them or something as heroic as saving a cat from a burning tree!!

I think doing a good deed every day & then relfecting on it will encourage others to do the same and will hopefully make the world our vgchartzers interact with a nicer place.

So what was your good deed of the day?

My good deed for today was getting up to let an older lady sit next to her friend on a bench in the park.

She told me I can stay where I was and that they'll go and sit somewhere else, but I got up and let them sit down.

I was lucky in the sense that this good deed came to me, I didn't have to find one to do...I'm thinking I'll have more opportunities to do good deeds if I want to do them, law of attraction :P .

I've been walking & jogging in this park for a few days now, hopefully I will meet the old lady again, she smiled at me on her way out of the park today. I feel like I've made someones day a little bit better!

Here is my good deed of the day:

This morning my cat had a mouse in its mouth and it was dropping it and hitting it, and then picking it up again - torturing it basically. When I saw this I ran to get a tin of catfood and banged it and my cat came running. I then walked over to the petrified mouse and lifted it up and walked across the road to set it free in some woodland.

I gave some guy my permission for him to die without turning his city into ashes.

aww that's really nice of you!! I love animal lovers!

The mice will forever be in your debt man-bear-pig...you'll be surprised...there might be a day when a mouse saves you!

took my mate out biking, his bike was messing up, so i let him ride my pride and joy to make it an enojyable day for him

No good deeds for today because I didn't leave the house (learning...) but I had two of them yesterday so I guess it evens out.

First an older woman had trouble to buy her train ticket from the machine so I helped her out and then there was this guy with like 5 bags who was clearly struggling to get into the train, so I helped him carry his baggage into the train and since he left on the same station as I did I also helped him off the train.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Here's my good deed I did yesterday:

I had just finished work at Sainsburys and my friend was on his way to pick me up and I was waiting outside. I then saw an elderly couple in the car park struggling to put a few crates of booze into their car. They looked distressed, so I walked over and helped them and when I was done I brought their trolley back to the place where the trolleys go.

I cleaned the bathroom. ;P

I didn't kill my brothers. :D
