And TBH, the British team didn't deserve to win. The peloton blew it by assuming 4 people could carry the entire field for the entire race, and that was never gonna happen. A shame, but a lesson for the future in cycling.

We all are Ashley, we all are. But it was the fault of the field, Team GB did all they could to peg it back...well, it was never gonna happen. They didn't want Cavendish to contend the sprint...so no-one did.
