I absoultley loved Tarzan, and I always thought it was better than Lion King. Maybe the music's not better(though Phil Collins was epic), but the story, the pacing, and the characters were all better.  The story of Tarzan going from Ape to man was just entertaining and a very mature take on the original books of tarzan, and it had a real good message. I enjoyed Lion King a lot as well, but mainly for the music. I never thought the story was very strong.

Anyone agree or disagree?

I probably shouldn't have put that as a better quailty for Tarzan, they are 8 years apart.  It'd be like saying rocky 6 was better than rocky 1 because of the Quality. My bad :/

Burn the heretic on the stake!

Both were great movies, but I think Lion King was the better of the two. Speaking of which, I just watched Lion King a few weeks ago. It is just as good as I remember it.

I just recently re-watched Tarzan and its pretty violent lol. I put them both on high pedestals though

But Tarzan was great, last Disney Classic.

Both movies were timeless classic however they both have very weak sequels

The Lion King and Bambi are my favourite Disney animations.

The animation in Tarzan is better but overall The Lion King is a much better film. Better plot, better voice acting, and better score and songs.
