So I assume a top loading PS3 would be cheaper than the slot drive we currently have. Shame really because slot loading drives are more modern and stylish. If it saves Sony money, why not I guess. Top loading drives just seem obsolete in this day and age imo, a disc tray would even be better. Alas.
