 The published date is today but it doesnt have what dates the sales figures are covering. Would you know that?

No idea, but certainly recently. Note that the number are certainly not very accurate, it can be 1,820m for the wii or something like that.

That's not good for PS3. It looks like it may be slowing down in Europe.

Chart-track said that PS3 stopped selling better than X360 in UK some time ago.

In Italy PS3 was winning with Wii and destroying X360 for quite a long time. In last official GFK data it got beaten by Wii by 2:1 and 360 almost caught it.

And now it looks like France data is also less favorable for Sony than it used to be. But numbers seems to be rounded to nearest 50k so maybe it's just unlucky rounding that make PS3 look bad.

France is Wii territory!

Confirmed!

What is sure Kamil is that the sells of 360 have considerably increase since the launch of GTA 4 because three facts:

the famous new limited sku:

http://www.amazon.fr/Console-Project-Gotham-Racing-m%C3%A9moire/dp/B0017TXDRU/ref=sr_1_51?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1214345365&sr=1-51

which has been sold out very speedly.

the fact that between 29 april and 15 june, you could win 60 € by buying a 360 with GTA 4.

And finally the fact that they were a lot of advertising everywhere.

And what is terrible is that the 360 is hard to find actually in France. Arcade sku sold out. Premium pack hard to find. Elite pack can be find but not so easily as that.

If they were more consoles in stock (for example the famous terrible sku, and arcade pack), the sells could have been largely better.

But, because the promotion for GTA 4 is finished, and because the limited sku no more exist, i think the sells are going to slow down, even if for the moment it's always hard to find some 360 in shops.

@lombard

How is MGS4 selling in France? Many ads, interest etc..?
