err I should have pointed out it would dwindle throughout the year.... Make that 50k for a few months, then returning to that around the olympics.

This could easily become the biggest Sega game ever made ... if the DS version will have similar legs to lets say Mario Party , than we can easily see a 10 million + seller ( versions combined ) .

It will clear 4mill easy. Only thing that bothers me is that if they expected it to do 4mill they should of made it better than what it is. I like the game personally, but the single player mode should of been more in depth. Where is the WiFi, i mean come on. Sega was lazy again, and they are reaping alot better results than what they deserve. Take Mario's name off of the title and your sales look like 1mil lifetime.

No question. A revamped version with online would be nice but I don't think they will bother. I expect this to hit 5 million. There will be a big boost for the olympics, another one next holiday followed by a price cut/greatest hits dropping it to $30 next year, release of Winter games S&M, bundle pack with both games..... repeat ad infinum.

You think you are sick of it now.....



Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

It is the 5th best selling SEGA game ever right now. If it reaches 4 M (which it will) the DS only has to do 2 to become best selling Sega ever.

It will reach 4 million on with the Wii version alone, I'll get it when it comes down in price.

Together with the DS version it should sell above four million. Im not convinced that the Wii version will top that figure by itself however. It still needs to sell another 1.5 million and I don't believe it will have the legs to do so despite the expected spike during the Olympics.

 It should come close though.

If Sega nails the touch screen controls of the NDS right and implements proper Wi-Fi play, I dont see any reason why the NDS version cannot outsell the Wii version.
