Well, the poll is pretty much in the balance (though the 3DS is winning by 35 votes), so it's up to you. I'd definitely wait until TGS to see what games there are for the Vita, and get any games you want for the 3DS.

I'd say keep the 3DS, unless there's multiple games, features you're looking forward to having on vita... I know I still haven't gotten one. My PSP has been dead since April 10th, 2011, and I was hoping to get vita to replace it, but. I'd rather keep the money in the bank, and wait for a price drop, or a new model, or something.
I used mine mostly for music as it is, anyway. 250 dollar MP3 player + 32GB memory card.... No... I know I could get a 20 dollar MP3 player, but... That's 20 dollars I could put towards the vita...
I'd say get rid of the 3DS only if you really don't want it anymore.

I don't trade my games in... Ever... I hated Street Fighter X Tekken to the point where i considered trading it in... Ultimately, I still have it, for the same reason... Made my decision of cancelling Tekken Tag 2 so much easier. Nothing to do with SFxT, it's just there's not enough extra going for it vs. Tekken 6. I'm not paying 60 dollars for a duplicate of much of the same content.
I should also add that SFxT cost me 87 dollars in total, of shipping, special edition, 2 costumes... And, if all you're going to get is 50 dollars, you may as well keep the 3DS. I don't think I'd get much more than 15 dollars for SFxT, so there's no way I'd ever turn it in.
It's a reminder to be more careful about the games I get.

The PSV has good games, but not many, maybe there's like a 10-20 games worth getting whereas on 3DS it's double that, and obviously the PSV is in pretty bad shape sales-wise, and if it doesn't improve anytime soon (the next year) then well, you know how most publishers will react to that, they may spend little attention on their Vita games or flat out not release any. Wait for the Vita to pick up steam and build it's catalogue some more. This should be done by 2013. |

3DS has much better library of games than PS-Vita, so if all you have played on 3DS is Ocarina of Time, I think the right solution for you would be to forego any portable console (3DS or PS-Vita).
But if you think you are a portable gamer... and the single game is not some weird financial constraint. Get and keep both portable consoles and then play whichever has the best game that appeals to your taste.
