All home consoles are massively down YoY. The one that is the least down is PS3, which has had a price cut and is still 25% down.
This holiday season will be the last decent season for the HD consoles and we're more than ready for next gen by holidays 2013.

Isn't this is the week of Pokémon B/W 2? I think that push the 3DS in Japan by about 8k. I don't know about the rest of the bump.

Everything sucks except the 3DS and PS3, and even they aren't that great.
Will next week onwards have the negative effect on 3ds sales of the XL announcement?

Seems like video games all around are down.
I think, when people look at the hardware sales of the HD consoles, they need to remember the fact that these are 5 or 6 year old pieces of gaming hardware and they are still selling at $250.
The fact that the PS3 can sell over a hundred thousand weekly so long after launch and at that price is kind of astounding.
The PS3 is outselling the 360 every week, and yet in the homepage the difference is getting bigger. If I remember correctly there was a time the difference was 1.8M and now it is 2.1 ¬_¬
