I actually nabbed platinum this year somehow, despite being outside the country for 3.5 months out of this Club Nintendo year.

I'm actually going to miss the calendar. It's been my companion the last three years...

So do my coins expire? Also, can I combine accounts? I made one when it first came out, forgot about it, made another and both have coins and I'm hoping I can combine them to get something.

I don't know about the second, but on the first point, CN notifies you if your coins are expiring, if you haven't bought anything in a while. That's happened to me twice, and i picked up some poster sets that my mom won't let me put up in my room

Somehow a couple weeks ago it said I did not meet qualifications for platinum or gold, which was strange because the club nintendo year didn't end until June 30. under my status it says I was not eligible. I don't really care that much, because the platinum rewards in the past couple years haven't impressed me. The only one I liked was the Mario Hat. I only had like 70 coins this year anyway so oh well.

what is the elite status? and how can i achieve that level of greatness?

Thanks for the heads up on that.  I needed to still register Kirby's Epic Yarn and the value of it was dropping from 50 to 20.
